An RTD light-rail train derailed in Aurora on Wednesday, and at least three people were injured, according to police.
The train derailed at South Sable Boulevard and East Exposition Avenue, police said in a 4:08 p.m. tweet.
Multiple injuries have been reported, and the intersection has been shut down to traffic.
Three people were taken to local hospitals with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to Aurora Fire Rescue. An investigation into the cause of the derailment is ongoing.
