Kate Middleton was seen giving her husband Prince William a "warning" before the entered Westminster Abbey for the Coronation of his father King Charles III, a lip reader has claimed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen standing outside the Abbey as they waited to follow the King inside to be crowned this morning (May 6).

While they waited, the 41-year-old apparently took the opportunity to give her husband a warning about his gown, lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman claims.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, the expert claims the Princess told William to "just mind the gown".

To which, the 40-year-old heir to the throne replied: "Don’t worry I got [or caught] it."

Kate wore a formal robe alongside an Alexander McQueen dress in ivory silk crepe with silver bullion and threadwork embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock motifs.

The robe was worn at the request of King Charles and Queen Camilla, while Kate used her go-to designer McQueen for her gown, with the flowers representing the four home nations.

To the surprise of many, she didn't wear a tiara and instead opted for a Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen Headpiece with silver bullion, crystal and silver threadwork three-dimensional leaf embroidery.

The Prince of Wales wore a robe of his own with the ceremonial dress uniform of the Welsh Guards.

The news comes as thousands of royal-loving Brits descended on London to witness King Charles III be coronated at Westminster Abbey this morning (May 6).
