Ukraine has made a chilling promise to keep hunting and killing Russians around the world until the invasion is over.
The country’s military intelligence chief pledged to take the lives of Russian people, “anywhere on the face of this world”.
Moscow has since responded furiously to the statement from Major General Kyrylo Budanov.

That rage comes amid renewed rocket, shell and drone attacks on Ukranian cities.
The comment rose when the general was asked about the US intelligence indication that Ukraine was behind the death of Russian journalist and activist Darya Dugina.
The daughter of far-right Putin ideologue Alexander Dugin was killed in a car bomb in August.
While Budanov brushed off details about this, he added: “All I will comment on is that we’ve been killing Russians and we will keep killing Russians anywhere on the face of this world until the complete victory of Ukraine.”
Russia has now replied with some rhetoric of its own, with Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov saying: “This is a truly monstrous statement.”

It was “direct confirmation that the Kyiv regime is not just sponsoring terrorist activity, but is the direct organiser of this activity.
“And this statement gives another very important characteristic of the Kyiv regime.”
He added: “We strongly condemn such statements.
“We have a special service that will do everything it should against the background of such statements. No one should have any doubts about this.
“Next, we will be very closely monitoring the reaction of European capitals today.
“And also Washington. Especially Washington.
“For it is very difficult to imagine that such terrorist statements from Kyiv can remain without discussion.
“Therefore, today we will wait for these discussions.
“And finally, this statement by Mr. Budanov once again confirms the correctness of President Putin's decision to launch a special military operation.”
His comments were echoed by Maria Zakharova, Russia's foreign minister spokeswoman, who said: “The Kyiv regime stated that the Biden administration is sponsoring terrorism.”
